🏃 Morning: We will leave our hotel in La Fortuna to explore the top of the lush rainforest with an unique opportunity to walk on nature-based hanging bridges where we will hopefully have the chance to encounter wildlife in their natural habitat with the help of our naturalist guide. Another treat for the eyes is of course the majestic Arenal volcano that will be visible from the trail. The trail will take around 2 hours.

Afternoon: We will hike to one of the many beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica. There are many options of hiking trails and to stimulate your adventurous spirit even more, the exact path will remain as a mystery. The hike we will choose will most likely be of medium difficulty and can last from 1.5 hours to 4 hours (approximately). This will require trip mates to be confident in their hiking but if you are a newbie and adventurous, that will also work!

Evening: We will devote ourselves to some relaxing and tasting Costa Rican traditional food.

🏃 Morning: We are going to head into the heart of the rainforest to meet the locals of Costa Rica, people who have been here way before the Spanish settlers - the Maleku people. This will give us opportunity to learn about their traditions and their ways of living with nature. Our idea is to get to know as much as possible about the locals in a respective way without objectifying them and we hope this will be as authentic as it can be. The tour will be private just for us. We will end with a delicious local lunch.

Afternoon: After so much walking done in the past two days, we will indulge into a well-deserved relaxing treatment for our bodies and minds. A visit to Arenal's only truly natural hot springs has so many benefits for our physical but also mental wellbeing. We can also enjoy the hot springs by sipping drinks from the bars (Drinks not included in the entry pass). The hot springs also have a natural setting and the temperature of the pools varies between 32 to 41 Celsius.

Evening: It is time to indulge in delicious local treats and get ready for another day of excitement!

🏃 Morning: No visit to Costa Rica is complete without tasting the people's two most favourite commodities - coffee and chocolate. We will make a private visit to a coffee and chocolate plantation in La Fortuna area. We will hopefully learn about the local and global impacts of these resources on our environment and the local communities' lives. In the end, we will be able to please our taste buds by trying the crops and the delicious final product...we personally can't wait for this!

Afternoon: To experience the diversity of Costa Rica, we will exchange the lush rainforests for the pristine coastline. It will be 4 hours ride but four hours don't sound that bad with a good company, music and road tripping through roads that will unravel scenic corners. We should arrive to our private villa with a pool which will be the beginning of our chill days.

Evening: We will have some delicious dinner, some drinks and perhaps we will be in a mood to move our bodies in a Latino style.

🏃 Morning: Ladies and gentleman, pack your swimsuits & welcome onboard our exclusive and private catamaran that will be entirely ours for 5 hours and comes with a crew who will take care of our sailing. We will also be served with cocktails, food and an array of activities like snorkeling, sup boarding, kayaking or surfing if weather conditions allow it.

There is not much planned for the afternoon or the evening, we can do beach hopping, watch the sunset, enjoy our pool and end the day with some delicious dinner, and let's see what's the mood.

🏃 Morning: We can enjoy a bit of pool or beach time, and then we will hit the road for one last time. The journey from our villa to the hotel in San Jose will take approximately 3 hours by our car.

Afternoon: When we reach San Jose, we will have some free time to see the main landmarks, do some shopping and just enjoy our last hours together.

Evening: In the evening, we will have dinner and we can see if we will be up for a little party in the capital.

Eventually, everything comes to an end but hopefully it is a 'see you soon' somewhere around the world. It is time to head to the airport, unless you haven't decided to extend your stay and live the 'pura vida' for a little longer. 😋
